ILTA is an ANSI/IACET Accredited Provider

The International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) is proud to be an ANSI/IACET Accredited Provider, effective February 1, 2026.

The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is the only organization approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to award Continuing Education Units (CEUs). IACET accreditation is internationally recognized as a mark of quality and rigor in professional learning.

As an Accredited Provider, ILTA is authorized to award official IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for qualifying educational programs that meet the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training.

What You Can Earn at ILTA 2026

At the ILTA 2026 Conference & Trade Show, attendees may earn:

Up to 0.6 IACET CEUs.

The ILTA 2026 Conference offers 19 qualifying sessions eligible for CEUs. Many of these sessions are concurrent, allowing an individual attendee to earn up to 0.6 CEUs during the event.

Understanding CEUs & Equivalencies

One IACET CEU represents 10 contact hours of learning.

At ILTA 2026:

  • A one-hour educational session awards 0.1 CEU
  • Six hours of qualifying sessions may earn 0.6 CEUs

The value of the CEU lies in standardization and portability. IACET CEUs are widely recognized across industries, and many certifying bodies use them to calculate:

  • Professional Development Credits (PDCs)
  • Professional Development Hours (PDHs)
  • Learning Units (LUs)
  • Other continuing education requirements

Conversion formulas vary by certifying organization. ILTA Conference attendees can submit their ILTA-issued certificate of completion directly to their credentialing body for applicable equivalency.

For many professionals, this documentation may support:

  • License renewal
  • Industry certification maintenance
  • Employer training requirements
  • Documented continuing professional development

How to Earn CEUs at ILTA 2026

To ensure compliance with IACET standards, the following processes will be implemented for each qualifying session:
  • Staff assigned to each CEU-eligible session to verify attendance
  • Check-in/attendance captured through the ILTA Central app or a paper log
  • Completion of a required post-session self-assessment survey via the app or paper handout
  • Attendance confirmation plus survey completion will trigger issuance of a formal certificate of completion

Upon verification, ILTA will issue an official certificate documenting CEUs earned as an ANSI/IACET Accredited Provider. Attendees will then submit their ILTA-issued certificate to their certifying body for applicable professional credit.
